Frontiers of Trauma Treatment 2-Day Workshop Bessel van der Kolk, MD
Workshop Overheads
Because Dr. van der Kolk modifies his workshop as updated information and research data becomes available as well as to address the differing needs and requests of specific workshop audiences, the order and content of his slide deck sometimes varies from that provided in onsite materials. We have asked Dr. van der Kolk to make available slides to download from our website
Click here to download the current version of his overheads. The zipped* file is just over 4 megabites in size.
Please Note: Dr. van der Kolk does vary his order of presentation from workshop to workshop within seasons, and we are not able to provide a slide set for each individual workshop. We feel that, on balance, our audiences are better served by allowing Dr. van der Kolk this flexibility than to force him into a specific presentation framework that does not allow him to present the latest research or address the needs and interests of the audience at hand. We do understand this is frustrating to attendees, who would like to follow the presentation in their onsite materials, and we apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced as a result.
In addition, it us unfortunately the case that some of Dr. van der Kolk`s most recent/provocative overheads may be in pre-publication form or be copyright-restricted for other reasons, and are not included with these updates. Again, we made the choice to allow Dr. van der Kolk to present this material even though we could not print it or make it available online. More detailed information regarding unpublished/restricted work mentioned during the seminar may be available from Angela at the Boston Trauma Center.
These materials are intended only for the use of workshop attendees and registrants. They remain the property of Bessel van der Kolk, MD.
